    Coaching provides a 1:1 or group experience while navigating established best practices. Typically, it is structured as either a course-based or journey-based approach aimed at a defined end goal.

    Advising is a 1:1 experience that connects with the executive leader to understand the “why,” using that as context to speed to value. It helps the executive leader grow and gain new skills while solving the problem at hand, offering a highly customized approach to that leader and situation.

  • Great question. Early on, we offered our customers general advising services on retainer using the general 6-month timeline. We found that we can help them reach their end goal much faster.

    What was assumed to take months took weeks. So now, we strongly encourage our clients to work with us using a deliverable-based and time-based approach. This allows us to establish an SOW within their budget and desired timelines, with milestones and deliverables so they can see progress and we can hold ourselves accountable to them.

    We guarantee our work and offer a 30-day term for convenience on all of our deliverables and time-based engagements.

  • We specialize in driving immediate results. As such, we only take on impossible products and situations we know we can deliver on quickly. Our vast network allows us to provide references to teams and firms that may be a better fit on the rare occasion that is needed.

  • Certifications are valuable when applied to specific industries. We are advisors working within our core industries and have earned many years of experience and degrees. We have experienced multiple cycles of failure and success!

    We honor and respect the coaching industry and the certifications one can gain. Most clients we work with have worked with coaches before, but come to us looking for deep expertise and cycles with execution in our domains and areas of expertise.

    The coaching field is rapidly changing, with AI coaches often replacing those certified without experience. We are the counterbalance to the other side of the pendulum, offering the expertise and execution capability that many do not yet possess in their careers. We do not have or maintain coaching certifications.

    For further clarity, we are not life coaches. While we do assist executives with managing both work and personal life, we are experienced business executives, CEOs, and technologists with deep technical expertise. We are generalists who have spent time in specific domains to go deep for many years. We all possess a unique blend of business and finance acumen with technology experience honed over decades.

  • We have a core team that fluctuates between 6 and 10 people. Our Associates are all experienced entrepreneurs and have been leaders in large enterprises. Each Associate has their own business, and we work together, supporting each other on the larger, more complex projects. At any given time, at least 3 people work full-time in the firm.

    Each team member is an expert in their domain, but most of us have skills and experience doing most roles within other domain areas and jump in to help whenever needed.

    We practice the advice we give and run lean and scale depending on the scope and SOW that best fit our clients, their budgets, and timelines. Within our network, we have access to talent in most domains across various horizontals and verticals. If it is outside our current scope or expertise, we can help you find the right talent or firm to help you.

  • Great question. We do not provide financial or legal advice.

    We specialize in product and innovation-led growth. Helping prepare companies for successful fundraising, focusing on strategy, pitch deck, business plan, roadmap and all aspects of the data room that investors and banks will review during due diligence.

    Since we usually work on both sides of the M&A transactions we know how to prepare and what acquiring companies or funders are looking for whether you are working on your next round of fundraising or exit.

    We do not hold securities licenses, as such we cannot negotiate your deal on your behalf, but we do make introductions when and where it makes sense to funders: VC. PE, Family Offices, and traditional banks.

  • We generally specialize in profitable companies with revenues over $1M, and most of our clients have ARRs over $10M.

    That said, we are experts at recovering companies with 3 - 6 months of runway left before lights out.

    We assess and confirm fit with those companies, as there is no time for hesitation on action, egos, or arrogance. If the CEO of the Founder is resistant to our advice and coaching, it usually does not end well. And that is a very tough thing to watch happen.
