Jimmie Lee | Managing Principal, Private Office
Private Capital. Strategic Assets. Governance.
"My legacy lives in the people empowered, not my accomplishments."
For over a century, my family’s five-generation legacy has been rooted in empowering communities and dismantling persistent barriers to access. Today, through my private office, I steward this mandate as a Managing Principal, evaluating, capitalizing, and building strategic assets in highly complex environments.
This operational rigor was forged over a 30-year executive career bridging enterprise scale at Boeing, Microsoft, and Meta with high-stakes global execution. As a fourth-generation entrepreneur, I have founded 9 independent companies, launched 300+ products, generated $2B+ in enterprise value, directed $100M+ in annual allocations, and stewarded $500M+ in AUM.
With a native ability to reverse-engineer complex systems, I know exactly where architectures break and how to build infrastructure that outlasts its creators. Yet, true institutional evolution requires more than technical brilliance; it demands flawless execution, ethical governance, and deep human impact.
Operating peer-to-peer with fellow principals, Family Offices, and Boards, my bandwidth is fiercely protected and strictly allocated across three domains:
Private Capital & Strategic Assets
Operating completely industry-agnostic, I evaluate the operational physics of an asset, from space and defense infrastructure to deep tech and hard commodities. If the mechanics are sound, I architect the precise alignment between top-tier capital and the elite executive partners required to perform in high-barrier sectors, deploying proprietary capital and opening exclusive deal flow to aligned peers and Family Offices for co-investment.
Institutional Governance & Advisory
I selectively align with boards to institutionalize fiduciary stewardship that de-risks complex assets without stifling operational execution. Drawing on my technical background, I help leaders identify the execution gaps and ethical blind spots that dictate long-term success. I serve in two distinct global leadership roles:
Ethics & Technology Group Leader for the Fast Company Executive Board
Product Management Group Leader for the Forbes Technology Council
Additionally, I advise across global innovation ecosystems, including Stanford Venture Studio, The Alchemist Accelerator, UW CoMotion, and Seattle University, alongside international funds across Dubai (Ignyte), Morocco (Explorer), and Botswana (MASA).
